A lot of people ask me if it is a bit sad to leave behind our office at 1508 10th. The answer is surprisingly, no. With some qualifications of course.I think maybe if we had more than two bathrooms, more than one conference room and we weren’t working on top of each other I might have more emotions about leaving this place that has been so important to us. We’ve done a lot here over the last few years however. I think there will be a enough great memories to fill a giant holiday cornucopia of amazing feats by the talented people here working tirelessly to make great work for our clients. We walked into this place with 12 people. We’re leaving with about 6 times that.
The truth is that in a few days we’ll all be just up the street smelling fresh paint and wandering around our new spacious office. All of that, has everything to do with the collective efforts of everyone who put in late nights and weekends at 1508 10th. I hope we take what we like about this place and build on it with enthusiasm and focus and fun as new as the space.

A bright, shiny and new 1508 10th.
So, I guess the reason I don’t have much emotion about 1508 10th is that I’m looking forward with much more excitement to the future than the past. I’m looking forward to all the things we haven’t done yet. All of the ridiculous costumes of Ramon. Robson’s handshakefulness. Adam’s weird ideas and contests. Kaylin’s new made up words. Ray’s mechanical genius repurposed into design. Julian’s facts. Pat’s Southern hospitality. Andrew’s fearless digitaldom. Hilary’s counseling. Heather’s expense report warnings. Jessica’s quiet confidence. Hemant’s strange beautiful world. New dogs. New toys. Ping Pong. A thousand champagne toasts to awesomeness. The cast of characters goes on and will keep going on in the new space.
Above all I’m looking forward to the smartness I get to see every day from every one of you. This is our chance to open the moving boxes, and solve new problems and make some amazing ideas come to life. Without question, they’ll be the best we’ve ever created. Thanks to everyone for making it all possible.
